Hi! We are the Uni High Debate Club.
As our name suggests, we do a lot of debating! From politics, such as abortion, vaccine regulations, the foreign relations, and elections, to science, history, and pop culture, our club discusses and presents a case about a wide variety of topics. Our meetings will typically consist of a formal debate that has been prepared and is presented during club hours, a casual and open discussion over a fun and engaging topic, working together to get ready for a competition, and/or much more (though we will never pressure anyone into participating). If you love sharing your opinion, practising public speaking, hearing different points of views, meeting new people, honing your debate and critical thinking skills, or a great addition to your extracurricular resume, then this club is for you!
